What does this mean for you? The gold will never flake off when you wear it. Gold fill is actually gold pressure bonded to the alloy. By comparison, with a gold plated necklace, a fine layer of gold is placed on the outer edge and has a tendency to tarnish. The results of wearing a gold plated necklace? A cheap looking necklace that has the potential to leave a green ring around your neck!
